Who am I?

Hello, I'm Elizabeth Davis! I am a current senior at The George Washington University majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Chinese. I started my computer science study when I started at GWU in 2014. I have enjoyed learning about the many aspects to computer science and am specializing in cybersecurity. I studied abroad in Beijing, China during the Spring 2017 semester and found my passion for international affairs and travel. I spend my free time working out, cooking, travelling and socializing with friends.

I pride myself in my computer science, mandarin, and leadership skills. My long-term professional use my technical and global perspectives to advance an American company in their technology sector internationally. Whether that is in cybersecurity, networking, data sharing, or policy, I would thrive working with other people across the world to solve current technological issues. My educational, work and personal experiences has prepared me to succeed any any work environment. I look forward to seeing how technology and global communcation advances

Projects

Senior Design

My partner and I are creating a video chatting interface to allow hearing impaired to communicate seamlessly with hearing people. We will be using machine learning, finger tracking technology, video modification libraries, and speech to text components.

MITRE 2017 Internship

I researched, designed and built the webserver UI for the automation of VM service we built. I used Node, Jenkins and Javascript to build a platform that extended an existing API. MITRE property, no further information may be provided.

Operating System Modification

For my school OS course, I worked with two others to implement an xv6 OS file-system check and restore. I implemented shared memory. The kernel commands get and remove were successfully implemented and tested. Due to GWU academic policy, I am not able to post my code.
